Logic, 300, Jobs, Gross Cups & Blisters

Here’s everything that’s been going on in the last few weeks:

1- DUMBASS CHICKENS!! (ili 3ala rasah ba67a)

2- I went to see 300 twice, and really enjoyed it both times, but here’s the thing, the censoring really really sucks… there were scenes that i only realized that they were cut out of the film after i checked out the movie stills on IMDb..

apparently, they DO show the Oracle when she says that Sparta should not go to war, bs ma shifna rig3at wayeh’ha, cos apparently she wasn’t dressed properly.. and there was a scene where they show something called “The Tree Of The Dead”.. i have no idea what the hell that is!?!

I swear,  as soon as i find it on any torrent site (a clear DVD version of it 6ab3an), i’m downloading it and watching it on the big-screen TV alone in the dark with the surround-sound stereo booming while munching on a bowl of hot & salty home-made popcorn and an icy glass of light-blue Red Bull (since they don’t sell it at Cinemas).. and when the movie’s done, i’ll watch it all over again and laugh in the face of Cinescape oo rabe3hum! HA HA HA!

Meanwhile, let’s explore the hotness that is the cast of 300… i love them all, Leonidas, the Captain, the Captain’s son Astinos, Astinos’s best friend Stelios and the story-teller of the whole story, Dilios… but my favorite two are:

Leonidas, who is played by Gerard Butler…

(min wayha embayen… SHAY6AN! :p) 

and Xerxes who’s played by Rodrigo Santoro…

(that face and those abs.. need i say more?!)

Btw, if you think you’ve seen this hotness before, he played the role of Carl in Love Actually.. CAARRL!!! (u can only understand why i’m happy it’s Carl if you’ve seen the Love Actually movie).. and when u see the movie, u’ll know that the abs are real.. REAL, I TELL YOU!

And if you thought that Queen Gorgo was hot in the movie, what would you think when u see her (Lena Headey) at the movie premiere?

Okay, so i know i’m talking about 300 too much, but i like it oo kaifi.. oo since it’s kaifi, i’ve uploaded my favorite part of the soundtrack, it’s called Fever Dream and it’s from one of the fight scenes.. give it a listen, i think you’ll like it whether or not you’ve seen the movie..

3- I started my job-getting trips to Wezarat el Tarbia, the 7awalli Educational District, Saba7 Hospital & elMajles el6ibi yesterday.. it was very tiring.. and to make things worse, i (stupidly) thought i only had to go to Wezarat el Tarbia and the Educational District to start building my file and then choose my school, and afterwards i can take my time with the medicals… so i wore heels.. but NO, it turned out to be like this:

* We go to wezarat el Tarbia, they see my shahada, they see that i’m from the College of Education and that my major is Teaching English for High School & Intermediate levels…

So they say.. “La, hathi etroo7 seeda 3al man6aqa el ta3limiya”, it’s like a Qubool Fawri (Immediate Acceptance?) so that gave me a boost, ya7laili jami3iya :p

* Went to the Educational District, started my file, had to fill a few applications out, chatted with the nice girl at the desk, she helped me out and gave me my medical papers.. *insert shocked face here* and i’m thinking “now?! today?!”

*Went to Saba7 hospital, coincidently ran into a family member who works there, he helped speed up the process… but it was as embarrassing as… well, i don’t think it can get more embarrassing than it did.. first i had to do the chest X-Ray thing, and it was awkward cos (el7amdilla 3al 9i7a o el 3afya) i’ve never had any type of X-Ray done to me before.. ever..

so the doc (cute little old indian lady) asks me to go into a changing room and take off everything on top (light cardigan, necklace, bra) but the sleeveless top i had under the cardigan… i do that, then she asks me to stand in front of a metal plate thing and then she pushes me gently and my chest is pressed against the metal and it’s COLD!!

the whole time they’re doing the X-Ray, i’m thinking “em9eeba.. em9eeba… em9eeba”.. and when that was over, i was very happy to get dressed lol

but that’s not the embarrassing part, the thing that i seriosuly can’t get over and was very gross was the Urine sample… i mean, people use the bathroom because it flushes things like that OUT and away from you… and everytime i’m about to leave the bathroom i scrub my hands with soap.. this time i had to leave the bathroom with the usual clean hands but with a small cup of something i DON’T want to be HOLDING!!

i seriously don’t want to know what sperm donors are thinking!

i mean, why can’t there be whole bathroom stalls for this type of thing instead of cups! the toilets don’t contain water, of course.. it’s just a huge Urine sample cup.. and the smaple-giver can just leave the bathroom and wash their hands WITHOUT having to take something out of the bathroom with them.

oo ba3dain broo7hum the toilets transfer the samples to the lab when they get flushed byt he giver (each sample giver has a person who’s responsible for the giver’s file and recieving the sample, 6ab3an)… ok, i’ll stop now..

*shudders* sorry about that, but i had to rant about it…

and that was it for that day, bs aham shay ina when i got back home i had blisters the size of the tip of my pinky.. yea, they’re small but they hurt like hell

The bright side is that i put on cute childrens’ bandaids with fish & kitty shapes all over them.. they’re cute lol

i took a bath, put on the bandaids, had lunch and now i’m happy & content…

so that means i’m going to go away now.. bye..
