Let’s get this posty started…
1- Before everything: Ramadan Kareeeem! & Embarak 3alaikum el shahar kilikum!! :***
2- They took away my Repeaters! It’s actually a good thing. So instead of teaching 1 repeaters class and 1 graduates class, I’ll be teaching 3 graduates classes. The challenge now is t get all three of them to pass with flying colors! That should be fun :p
3- I’m loving “The Secret” DVD!
Whoever likes self-improvement, books, DVDs and watching Oprah shows that don’t involve food, her roadtrip with Gayle or relationships, is bound to know about this book-turned-into-DVD! It’s all about the Law Of Attraction… Here’re the first 20 minutes of the DVD (you can keep reading the post while the video loads):
Oprah had two full episodes about “The Secret”. On the first episode she had the writer of the book (the Australian woman in the begining of the video) and a number of “teachers” of the secret.. on the second episode, she had two of the teachers answer the audience’s questions…
When one woman needed to feel happy emotionally, she realized that the reason she was miserable is because she couldn’t let go of the idea that her husband has left her… so one of the teachers says that the simple thing to do here is forgive and with sincerity, I liked his saying “NOT Forgiving is like taking poison and expecting the other person to die.“…
Then when one viewer talked about trying to apply The Secret and reaching their goal, the teachers said: “Don’t try! Trying is failing with honour! Just DO IT!“…
But my favorite quote was when a woman talked about trying something new and excelling at her job and how her co-workers would put her down with their “Who Do You Think You Are!?” attitude.. so the teacher (and i know ALL of you should write this down- specifically Juju & Princess, you can keep this in mind so you can kick more ass at work) says: Never mind them! It’s known that “Mediocrity ALWAYS Attacks Excellence!“
So that was a pretty cool “AHA!” moment for me lol
4- The Ramadan shows I’m watching this month are “Fereej” on Sama Dubai because “3ind El 3ayayeeez, Kil Shay Yayeeeez“…

And “Al-Kashaf” on KTV 1, it’s like a documentary about Kuwait, this guy called Salah Al-Sayer goes all over Kuwait and has these adventures and introduces info i never knew.. did u know that Kaifan used to be called “9ya7 El-Bugar”.. yea, you read it right.. the Cow’s Cry lol
I think it’s very intersting and great that there’s something to watch that ISN’T about families suffering from drugs, constant drama, slutty losers and idiots who can’t really say no to bad series, and just can’t seem to portray Kuwaiti people as decent modest people who DON’T wear dara3at and full clown make-up 24/7…
I’m defintely NOT watching 7aleema’s show! GOD NO! Did you see the commercial for it?!!?! holy crap!
Other than that, I don’t think i have any more to say lol I need to go type up and print out some school papers lol
I hope all of you have a light, fun and amazing Ramadan and an even better Eid ;D
