August 5, 2007The other day i was watching Tom & Jerry (yes, i love to be in touch with the child within, u got a problem with that?)…
And i noticed that Mammy, Tom’s chubby black owner, always calls Tom using his full name “Thomas!!!“… so my conspiracy theory loving brain started to think that maybe the cat is called Thomas and the owner is black because Thomas Jefferson allegedly had an affair with one of his slaves, Sally Hemings… and that this is sort’ve like a mini-insult.. that Thomas (aka Mr. Jefferson) was “Owned” by his black Mammy… i just made up that conspiracy theory and i think it’s quite funny lol
Now, i tried to search for something similiar and i came up with this blog, “The Inconceivable“… but they mention how people are sorta racist by exchanging Mammy with a skinny white teenaged girl… enjoy ;p

The other day they had tom and jerry on, and it wasn’t the new tom and jerry it was the really really old one.. it even has a different opening and ending, remember those? Yeah, now THAT was fun!
