I went to see Die Hard 4.0 (or Live Free & Die Hard.. whatever it’s called) last night and it was alot of fun..
i have to admit (all you Die Hard geeks, close your eyes to avoid killing me!) I haven’t seen ANY of the past Die Hard movies..
But I used to play Die Hard on playstation… what I know about John McClane is that he’s a smart-talking joke-cracking pessimistic police officer detective person with the catch phrase “Yippee Ki Yay!”
So the general idea of the movie is this:
“John McClane takes on an Internet-based terrorist organization who is systematically shutting down the United States (by taking down the entire computer and technological structure that supports the economy of the United States and the world), with the help of a young hacker.”
Throughout the movie, i was kept on the edge of my seat, but at the same time i was constantly laughing at the unbelivable things you can do with cars, helicopters and F-35 jets…
Justin Long (the cute little geek in the Mac ads and Accepted) is the hotness in the movie.. I’ve always seen him in comedies, but this action movie puts him in a whole new light.. and i also like the long haired bearded look instead of the fresh-look he had in Accepted…
Of course there are female hotnesses (for my male readers :p).. Mary Elizabeth Winstead who plays Bruce Willis’s daughter (Lucy McClane), and Maggie Q who’s one of the bad guys, the villian’s girlfriend to be more precise.. and i like both of them to tell u the truth…
Maggie’s amazing at being an evil villian bitch, and the fact that Mary Elizabeth’s character has the same “McClane” attitude that is kick-ass is also very good.. no wimpy chicks in this movie! yay! :p

Go watch this movie if you like over-the-top action sequences, geeks, hackers, Justin Long, crazy Kung Fu villian bitches, kidnapping girls to get to their detective father, talking cars called Dolores, anything internet related, lotsa guns and explosions, elevator shafts, traffic accidents and various cell fons…
