Nice poem, moving and all but from a Literative perspective, I’d like to point out that it didn’t give me the goosebumps while reading it. It lacked a bit of life I am not sure how to describe it. It also didn’t follow a structure at all hehe so in Nuttie’s terms it would be a moem instead of a poem.
it’s not meant to give goosebumps, it’s just a train of thought, and i know it’s a moem, i just didn’t want to write moem and ppl would tell me i have a badliya :p
Jewaira: thank u to tell u the truth, i made the image initially to put the poem YOU wrote on it, the one about being watched all the time, no privacy… then i sorta got lazy and it was too late… but i’m glad u could related to the idea of the poem :*
You know…sometimes, I wonder about the people passing by me…who they are, what they do, what they’re thinking.
Especially when driving. When waiting for a traffic light to turn green, everybody’s looking forward, with a stern look on their face. I just wonder what’s going on through their minds….strange?
i thought of writing this when i saw a bunch of indians at a bus stop, there was one guy in a clean pressed suit, others in jeans and some in dirty work clothes.. i started thinking “that guy over there in the suit… what’s he thinking? is he off to a job interview that would change his life forever? what about the others there… are they just waiting to go on with their lives? do they envy the suit man?” and the thoughts go on and on and on..
Adorra: i have no idea how that would taste LOL i can buy u some salt if want and ship it to the US as a Valentine’s gift.. with a card that says “May You Never Eat Anything Without Salt Ever Again”…. nice,eh?
